CCA-EMC scope

NOTES

The standards to be used for the CCA-EMC Mark shall give the presumption of conformity to the European Directive.

References of the Standards are published in the Official Journal of the European Communities under the EMC Directive: these standards give the presumption of conformity to the essential requirements of the EMC Directive.

When the reference of an EMC product or product family standard is published in the Official Journal of the European Communities under the EMC Directive, the product standard take precedence over generic standards.

If there is a new publication of references of EMC standards in the Official Journal of the European Communities, the new publication in the Official Journal shall take precedence.

New editions or amendments of standards not yet published in the Official Journal of the European Communities may be used for issuing CCA-EMC Mark licences. These new editions or amendments do not give the presumption of conformity to the requirements of the EMC Directive.
